Digital Video Recording Software
Norpix's StreamPixTM Digital Video Recording software allows you to acquire live uncompressed or compressed (AVI) video directly to your computer's hard disk or RAM memory. It provides a GUI with a video-like recorder toolbar. StreamPix supports a wide selection of third party IEEE, analog, digital and high speed cameras along with various frame grabbers. Both software only and complete turnkey systems are available.
Machine Vision Software
Matrox® Imaging Library (MIL) is a comprehensive collection of software tools for developing machine vision, image analysis, and medical imaging applications. MIL X includes tools for every step in the process, from application feasibility to prototyping, through to development and ultimately deployment. The software development kit (SDK) features interactive software and programming functions for image capture, processing, analysis, annotation, display, and archiving. Matrox Design Assistant® is an integrated development environment (IDE) for Microsoft® Windows® where vision applications are created by constructing an intuitive flowchart instead of writing traditional program code. In addition to building a flowchart, the IDE enables users to design a graphical web-based operator interface for the application. Matrox Design Assistant X can operate independent of hardware, allowing users to choose any computer with CoaXPress®, GigE Vision®, or USB3 Vision® cameras and get the processing power needed. Matrox Design Assistant X works with multiple cameras all within the same project, or per project running concurrently and independently from one another, platform permitting. This field-proven software is also a perfect match for a Matrox Imaging vision controller or smart camera. Matrox Design Assistant X includes classification steps that categorize image content using deep learning. This flowchart-based vision software offers the freedom to choose the ideal platform for any vision project and speeds up application development.

The software supports the current Windows OS from WinXP to Win8, 32-bit as well as 64-bit. The preemptive real-time multi-tasking system is programmable in C/C++ or Delphi. By using a DLL, the real-time system can also be embedded in a C# application.

With ActiveGigE your application does not have to rely on a specific camera model - any GigE Vision™ compliant camera will work with it out-of-the-box in any popular development environment, such as Visual Studio, Visual Basic (VB), Delphi, PowerBuilder, Java, Matlab, Python, QT. You can even insert an ActiveGigE object into an MS Word or PowerPoint document and have the live video embedded right into your presentation!
